Densities, Refractive Indices and Excess Properties for the binary mixtures of 2-Hydroxyethanaminium formate [HEF] with monoethanolamine (MEA) at T = 293.15 to 313.15 K.

Majid Majeed Akbar

Densities and refractive indices for the binary mixtures of 2-hydroxyethanaminium formate [HEF] with monoethanolamine (MEA) were experimentally measured over a wide range of concentrations and at temperatures 293.15 to 313.15 K. The experimental densities and refractive indices values were correlated as function of temperature and concentration simultaneously. Excess molar volumes (VE) and refractive index deviations (∆nD) were estimated by the experimental density and refractive index data. The excess molar volumes showed negative values over the entire range of temperatures and concentration. Refractive index deviations showed positive values for the said temperature range for all the concentrations.
