Pakistan Institute of Chemical Engineers (PIChE) was founded in 1969 and registered under act XXI of 1860. It is a volunteer organization, which offers services to the chemical engineers in particular and to other engineers and industries in general. Its main objective is to provide technical support to the members by arranging seminars, functions, techincal lectures, training sessions on various chemical related topics in different cities of Pakistan.

PIChE also publishes literature, research material, newsletter etc to educate and update its members with the current activities of the Institute. These activities help our members in imporving their work and enhance skills to their own benifits. Moreover, PIChE is affiliated with similar international organizations, which are helpful to exchange the views and transfer of technology.
